MASQUERADE BALL & SILENT AUCTION…what a great time was had at the Masquerade Ball/Silent Auction…HUGE KUDOS go out to Sharon Deligdish and Sarah Kodsi, event co-chairs, for their once again colossal dedication and efforts in making this event a tremendous success…over $12,000 was raised for the benefit of our children!  It was great to see so many interesting costumes and masks this year.  A special thank you goes to all the sponsors, the many volunteers, and those that donated items for the Silent Auction…without you this would not have happened!  For those of you who joined us for this entertaining evening, we thank you for your ongoing support!

SCIENCE FAIR WINNERS…WAY TO GO!!!  our Academy students in grades 4-6 recently participated in our school’s Science Fair.  We congratulate our first place winners in the following categories:Biological:  Jordana Haggard-Gr. 5, Jeremy Gluck-Gr-6; Physical: Gabriel Leff -Gr. 4,

Sophia Friedman -Gr. 6; Environmental:   Gregory Crouch -Gr. 4  The first place winners will represent BJCS at the Brevard County Science and Art Fair on April 28th.

BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION…WOW YOU DID IT!!!!...congratulations to the Gr. 1-3 class for collecting the most boxtops…a pizza and ice cream party was enjoyed by the students for this great feat!  A special thank you to Wray Benezra for coordinating this project!

NEW BOARD MEMBERS…congratulations to Dr. Susan Pinsky and Brian Steinberger for accepting

positions on our BJCS School Board…and to Dave Bookman who previously joined the board.  We look

forward to many new and exciting ideas from you!

PASSOVER SEDER…WOW..THANK YOU..to the TBS Sisterhood for providing AND preparing the food for our Academy seder on March 26^th.  What a fine contribution in a show of togetherness!

PASSOVER…In observance of the last two days of  Passover, there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, April 5^th and Tuesday, April 6^th. 

GARAGE SALE…JUST IN TIME FOR SPRING CLEANING!!!  Save the date… Friday, April 23^rd from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. inside the TBS building.  Please bring in your donations to the school lobby starting April 9^th during school hours or contact Hilary Steinberger our super energetic chairwoman for special arrangements.   Donations needed…furniture, books, toys, clothing-anything salable!

CLASSROOM VISITATION…WELCOME…WELCOME….as you know, you are always welcome to visit your child’s classroom and see firsthand your child’s enriching and exciting activities. ..simply call the school office to arrange a convenient time for you.
